Biz Plan Competition at SZABIST Dubai (14th Dec 2011)

 

SZABIST Dubai has proudly arranged an inter university business plan competition at its premises on 14th Dec 2011. Altogether six teams representing IMT Dubai, Manipal Dubai, and SZABIST itself participated. All the teams had very unique and viable business ideas and jury members found it really difficult to decide about the winning team.

The winning team named as 'Dine @' was from SZABIST Dubai and they have come up with this innovative idea of opening a restaurant which deals in healthy food for people seeking healthy lifestyle, with a special section serving the food for diabetics. The idea comes from the curse of increasing obesity resulting in diabetics that has become so prevalent in the U.A.E now a days.  This would be a first restaurant of its kind in U.A.E where all the family members, diabetic or not diabetic, would be able to enjoy the food together.
