Rashed Al-Mazrooei is a chief architect in spearheading SZABIST’s quest to be a leader in Applied Research. He serves as a special advisor to SZABIST and has been instrumental in setting up major technology centers in all our four campuses through his innovative ideas. He is also the Chief Executive Officer & co-founder of a technology start-up, Al Muraqib, a company which specializes in Wireless Sensor Networks. Currently, he is employed as the Head of Networks & Systems with Global Aerospace Logistics LLC.

He brings with him vast experience in different horizontal sectors including oil & gas, biotechnology and IT security and has presented papers in several conferences. He has studied in USA and holds a MSc. in Computer Sciences from the New York Institute of Technology. His future plan is to pursue a PhD in a relevant field.
